Screen Printing samples

I tried some of the techniques for screen printing that where mentioned in the course material.

I started with a simple sticky back plastic stencil.

1st layer

2nd layer

Next I tried some vilene stencils – acrylic paint or as I used household paint is painted on to vilene.  This is then attached to the back of the screen with masking tape.

Fabric paint with screen print medium – this didn’t work    as well, the vilene makes it hard to see where to put the second layer.

Next I tried making a screen with Daler-Rowney Screen Drawing ink and removable block.
